E-Library

What is it?

The HKMU Electronic Libraryerves as a dynamic Information Express, offering a wealth of scholarly resources pertinent to your academic and research endeavors at HKMU. With this online platform, you have the convenience of accessing a comprehensive collection of online databases, electronic books, journals, and curated Internet resources of exceptional quality.

At the E-Library, you may:

  • Access over 6,128,900 electronic books and dissertations;
  • Browse and search more than 210,600 print books and dissertations;
  • Search more than 288,100 physical and online multimedia titles;
  • Access over 460 databases;
  • Access online examination papers and assigned readings;
  • Find library guides, online tutorials and other library information;
  • Use our online services, including renew and reserve Library items;
  • Request scholarly resources from the collections of over 600 partner libraries worldwide;
  • Access over 400 outstanding works from the HKMU Student Works Repository, including final year projects and dissertations; and
  • Chat with the Library Enquiry Chatbot, Libi to obtain latest Library information.

All active HKMU students (i.e., students who are enrolled in HKMU courses for the current semester) are eligible to access the E-Library via the Library Homepage. The E-Library is accessible 24/7, whether from PCs, mobile devices, or through the internet workstations located on campus.

The E-Library offers a wide array of electronic resources and online services, exclusively reserved for HKMU staff and students. To access these resources and services, you must log in with your designated user ID and password. For more details, please visit the Library Homepage, navigate to “Using the Library” and then select “Library Account and User ID & Password”.

  3. 3. The Library Guides section provides user guides and online tutorials to help you finding resources or using the library services.

You can also schedule an appointment with our Information & Instructional Services Section colleagues for a Research Consultation Service to address your information and research needs.
